Creating a Vision Board:
Before you create a vision board, think about how and where you want to view it. Do you want it to be physical in your space or purely digital so you can view it on your phone or computer?
Before you start on either one, though, it is very important to clarify what you want to showcase in your vision board.
You should start by writing down your goals and what you want different areas of your life to look like.
Also, decide how focused your vision board will be and what time frame you want to achieve these goals.
For example, do you want a vision board that focuses on all your goals or one that focuses primarily on health, finances, or travel? You can also do themed vision boards for each season. Just have clarity around that before you start the process of creating one.

Creating a Digital Vision Board:
Pinterest is an essential tool for creating a digital vision board. Start by creating a board on Pinterest that you label Vision Board. Then, search through Pinterest for images or quotes that represent the goals, dreams, lifestyles, or habits you want showcased on that board.
If you can find everything within Pinterest, you can search anywhere online and use the Pinterest extension to save any good images you find to that board.
Check out this Pinterest Vision Board example below for inspiration and vision board ideas. You can also save any images you like to your own Pinterest vision board.
Once that is complete, you can choose to make that your board or take it one step further and use those images to create a vision board in Canva. There are a variety of vision board templates inside Canva, or you can make one from scratch. Figure out what size or sizes you want based on where you want to display it, like a computer or phone background. You can also save the link to view from any device.
Pinterest and Canva are both free to use, but Canva also has a paid version.
Below is a video by YouTuber Jillz Guerin that will walk you through the process of creating a Vision Board.
Creating a Physical Vision Board:
If you prefer to create a physical board for your own space, you have a few options as well.
Create it the old-fashioned way with poster board, glue stick, and cut-out images from magazines or printed images you find online or saved to your Pinterest board. You can also get a vision board clip art book like this one with pictures geared towards vision boards.

Print the Canva version you made. Canva is fantastic because it gives you options to print a large version of your vision board. Then, you can frame it.

Get a digital picture frame and have it rotate through your vision board pictures.

Create A Vision Movie:
Another fun alternative to creating a vision board is creating a vision movie. You can do this on Canva as well. I am including a couple of helpful video tutorials using methods recommended by Dr. Joe Dispenza, the author of the book Becoming Supernatural.
The first video is from YouTuber Alitzel Guerrero.
The second video is from a YouTube channel called Soul Sheperd Hypnosis.
Making The Vision Board Work for You:
Now that you have created your vision board and figured out where you want to view it, the next step is to make sure it works for you.
Always remember that a vision board is a tool, not a magical solution. You need to pair it with actionable steps.
Make sure you view it daily, even just for a few minutes. Take time to absorb the images and connect with their meaning mentally.
You should also update your vision board periodically. I like to update my vision board at the beginning of every year.
Remember, creating a vision board is a deeply personal process that should inspire and motivate you. The best vision boards get you excited about your goals and future.
