What is Motivate My Monday?

Motivate My Monday is a series on The Revolution Blog where every week I will share something inspirational. It could be a song, quote, video, essay, poem, etc. I will also share a recipe of the week and will feature other items I feel are worth mentioning. Each Motivate My Monday will end with ‘Take Action’ items for ideas on what to do that week.  The intent is to help you start your week on a positive note and look forward to the week ahead. I am open to suggestions if anyone would like to see something specific in the Motivate My Monday series. Feel free to comment below!

Inspiration of the Week:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”. – Marianne Williamson

Recipe of the Week:

‘Tis the season of squash! This is a great time of year to work with the tasty and versatile spaghetti squash.

Here is a great basic spaghetti squash recipe that shows the easiest way to cook Spaghetti Squash (hint: cook before cutting).

Healthy Morning Habits: It is so important to create a morning routine with healthy morning habits below are some of my favorite morning habit video’s from some of my favorite YouTubers to help inspire you on great ways to start your morning.

Brittany Vasseur of “Vasseur Beauty” recently made a video on Healthy Morning Habits to Slay Your Day!

Sadia of “Pick Up Limes” did a video on Healthy Morning Habits that includes a printable check list.

I personally love watching videos of people who have integrated healthy habits into their morning routines but if you prefer to read, the articles below are great for setting up your day for success.

A great book to check out on creating healthy morning habits is The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.

Take Action:

Based on the inspiration write out your ideal morning routine. Implement at least one new habit from your ideal morning routine in the coming week. Continue to add one or more in each coming week until you have come as close to your ideal morning routine as you feasibly can do.

Go out of your way to be extra kind to someone this week!

Have a wonderful week!
